Conference Keynotes

We are very pleased to announce that the 2011 HEIR conference will include plenary keynote sessions from three distinguished international experts to define descriptive essay and research into higher education.

Each speaker has been asked to focus on different aspects of institutional research and will relate their keynote to the overall conference theme ‘Scanning the horizons: Institutional Research in a borderless world’:

  • Angel Calderon, Principal Advisor, Planning and Research at RMIT University in Australia will outline RMIT’s innovative holistic approach to institutional research in the context of the Australian approach to IR, and the overall international evolution of IR as a complex and eclectic occupation.
